We meet in the North Michigan Avenue Apple store, and have a non-compete with them , so there is no way we can communicate any information about discounts and offers which might be taken as competitive while we are in the store. Therefore, we have developed a different system, since we really can not announce much in the store. We have a discount section on our web site. One part is a teaser, which has all the current discounts, but no codes. Anyone who comes across this page gets the idea about the range of products an who to contact, but there are links in every vendor's product or service to our ambassador's email, so that person can be contacted to give the codes. Rather than hoping that people run across this page, we use a program called Mailings (only costs $25, a truly great investment!) to send this page out to our members (which I just did). Again, they do not have any codes, so they need to contact our ambassador for those codes to get the discounts. Our ambassador is also given a list of our current membership, so he knows who is good and who is not. (maybe I should not say it that way, but you get the idea!)
