This is a discussion list, so members can always do their own
research. Nobody should ever move on unconfirmed information.
Calling information false is just as damaging. Timeliness of the
source is as important as the source itself.
In this case, anyone that went to Macworld '08 and spoke to intuit
people will confirm the new product that bears little to no
resemblence to the current Quicken program.
Little can be discussed to do non-disclosures, but check out Quicken's
site for the subject:
https://quicken.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/quicken.cfg/php/enduser/sign_up.php
There will be NO Quicken 2008.
Search for reports after 1/1/08 and you'll find a slew of screen shots
of Quicken Financial Life for Mac. I can't give you details beyond
what's already on the Internet, but you'll find many articles that
discuss it is a complete rewrite. Is iWork Appleworks 7.0? That's a
matter for debate, but Quicken 2007 is about as close to Quicken
Financial Life for Mac as iWork is to Appleworks.
