Thanks to Richard and Claudia for the question,
IDG gave user groups an excellent offer -- free passes well after all
the other sources expired.
IDG pulled the offer a few days ago because groups were advertising
the offer openly on their web sites instead of keeping it just for
their user group members.
We have been in discussion and there will be an updated offer
shortly, but it will be posted in a different way. The Board
regularly gets complaints from vendors about codes that are not kept
private and we try to be sensitive to their concerns. IDG is being
pretty generous in this, especially considering how upset marketing
was about the situation.
This month's Bulletin (published this week) will have full details
and you will be able to participate shortly.

The below link is not working.
Our members are having the same problem. The discount notice seems to
indicate that the offer is good to 1 December. True??
We would appreciate any ideas about what to do.

Club Mac of Monterey
Snafu’d for several days now....Worked
when first sent. Any suggestions or alternate codes?
There were other offers, from various vendors, that were short lived.
Thx,
Claudia / Ambassador
