We've gently tried to talk over him and politely asked him to respect other's but it doesn't seem to work. If someone is a paid member/pays for meetings, I find it extremely difficult to ask them to leave.
Often times he'll interrupt the speaker saying they are "wrong" or making inappropriate comments. Sometimes, he'll just keep asking questions and blurt them out without being recognized by the meeting leader
The best way to deal with this is to have some sort of authority.
In our group it was easy because I'm both benevolent dictator and long-time Mac Daddy for Northern Ireland (run NiMUG for 10+ years, run the only Apple Authorised Service Provider for 6+ years. In other words, if I say something with authority then the crowd are pretty sure it's true.
But yes, nothing more annoying and I've seen it where someone just doesn't know when to shut up - even when they're wrong, proven wrong and asked to be quiet. I don't envy you.
Hm. Where is your group? I'll be right over...
