I honestly do not believe that USB3 and FW16/32 will be aimed at the same market nor do I believe that Apple is as concerned with FW marketshare as we might assume. Look at the number of Macs without FW at all. Also - with iPhone/iPod no longer supporting FW, we can see the way the wind is blowing inside Cupertino.
