Hi,
Am starting an Apple Mac User Group in Cornwall and already have some
19 people who are very interesting in joining from around Cornwall.
Therefore any advice in where I can obtain advice and help in forming
would be most welcome.
I actually teach Apple Mac skills at my local college for free and
have a large class of people over the age of 50, that I teach Mac
skills to, plus I operate a free helpline in Cornwall for Mac users,
which is growing in numbers each day and often asked what type of
computer to purchase.
My answer is always the following:
If you have nothing better to do in your life, want to suffer from
continual errors and frustration, viruses, blue screens, incompatible
hardware, etc, then get a Windows PC.
If however they have better things to do in life, want it to work and
operate easily, without worry or stress, then get a Mac !
So many friends and others who have asked me for advice have moved
over to a Mac, even one the other day who just purchased a Windows
Vista, had it for a week, then on my advice bought an Apple Mac and
has given his daughter the PC and says that his Apple Mac and my
advice was the best ever received.
Anyway, have already obtained a venue for FREE, that will hold up to
90 people, with teas and coffees available during a break, etc.
Am determined to make the group very successful, therefore can anyone
please pint me in the direction of obtaining advice and help please?
Regards & have a great day, and always remember that a smile costs
nothing to give, but to receive, can be worth more than all the riches
in the world,
Stefan
