As a moderator and Apple Ambassador for a rural MUG, one question pops up once every blue moon: Since there are no Apple stores within 65+ miles of our meeting area, people want to know that if they want to go to an Apple service provider to get work done on a Macintosh computer (getting RAM installed, getting a new hard drive in a laptop, etc.) who do they turn to? Is the Apple web-site's listing for Apple-authorized service providers the only guide? Is there any way to determine the quality rating of a service provider's work?
