I just tried it myself. You can play unprotected video content through the iPod app, slide shows through the photo app, Netflix, You Tube, Air Video, TwIT, but Hulu and uStream is not supported. That is what I found so far in a few minutes of testing hope it helps.

Some folks probably already know this, but I offer it for those who don’t:
The iPad does offer VGA output with apple’s $30 adapter.
The problems are:
- What comes out the adapter is not a mirror of the ipad’s screen. Every app that you want to use must be designed to take advantage of the adapter and specifically feed a signal to it.
- Some content is locked down and not allowed out of the VGA output. This would be especially when using the iPod functions in the iPad for playback of video. The restriction may be limited to itunes-sourced content. I am not sure. But I believe I have heard some people say they have had issue with some other content as well.
