This is the first issue of the "Frontline" digital ethics and
safety newsletter compiled by Joe Showker, Instructional Technology

09 RetroMacCast
This web site, is aimed at those of us using "classic" or
"vintage" Macs. Or in this case, they are referred to as Retro.
In fact, the title page says "They're not old they're retro."
(Note to editors, they got the "they're" correct. I think it
is the first time in at least a year I didn't see
it as "there" or "their.")

11 7 Things Missing from iPad; You'll Love It
This article is by Calium Henderson who describes himself
as "I'm a Christian guy in his early twenties, studying to
be a primary school teacher."
He starts off with the comment that "Lot's of people have been
complaining about what is missing from it, but I think
there are serious advantages to what Apple has left off the device."

17 My experience with MacAddict/Mac|Life
MacAddict was first introduced win I was the Program Chairman
at Tulsa Users of Macintosh Society (TUMS). Those were the days
when Apple was allowing clones of Macs and Power Computing
purchased many adds in MacAddict showing their attitude.
MacAddict also had that attitude of "fighting back for the Mac."

21 Quotes: Wealth
He does not possess wealth; it possesses him.
-- Benjamin Franklin
Pretty much, Apple and Dell are the only ones
in this industry making money.
They make it by being Wal-Mart.
We make it by innovation.
Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.
-- Steve Jobs
