HAPPY 4TH OF JULY ...
-------------------------------------------------------------------
01 YouTube email not safe
With the popularity of YouTube, I'm surprised we haven't seen
more cyber crime like this before now. There have been pot shots,
but through the week we've seen repeated cyber phishing attacks
going after YouTube users.

03 Stolen Mobile Devices Protected
ActiveTrak Inc., has announced a 95 percent recovery rate
for laptops and smartphones running its GadgetTrak application.
Compared to FBI crime statistics that reveal only 10 percent
of all burglaries are actually solved, owners of a mobile
device should be advised that using GadgetTrak dramatically
increases the chances of recovery should their
device be stolen or lost.

04 Canon Camera Hackers Manual
The Canon Camera Hackers Manual addresses "geeky" owners
of Canon consumer cameras, such as the Powershot and IXUS,
who would like to explore the possibilities of their cameras

05 My New iPad
Apple calls the iPad a "magical and revolutionary product,"
and it certainly is. It's cute, lovable, and fun to play with,
but it's also a bit mysterious. As with all Apple products,
the iPad's basics are easy to understand, but many of its
best features are well beyond the basics, and many users
will look for guidance to get the most out of their new toy.

08 Stop the lies! The day that Microsoft 'saved' Apple
David Morgenstern, who is a long time reporter of the Apple
scene wrote the article with the above title for ZDNet.
He mentions that with Apple overtaking Microsoft in market
capitalization that the myth keeps popping up that
Microsoft saved Apple.

09 1Password for Mac 3.2.5
1Password 3.2.5 includes multiple bug fixes and important
improvements. These include a change to the auto-submit feature -
which fills and submits login forms automatically - to prevent
the form from being instantly submitted if it contains a
text field, as found in the comment areas of blogs such
as The Unofficial Apple Weblog and others.
This has been an issue for blog commenters in the past,
and Agile Web Solutions is excited to offer a
solution to the problem!

of iPhone 4's front camera is now available for download

of iPhone 4 to become a true pocket mirror.
Finally allowing iPhone users to be just a quick glance away
from seeing how good they look. In addition to supporting

12 The Oatmeal
I like humor. Doesn't everyone. This site is fun. For example,
on the home page is a series of article headlines. Including:
"What your email address says about your computer skills."
