I’m sharing a message I just sent to my Naples MUG group
I’m old enough that I wrote code using a circular slide rule because the calculations were done ON the surface of a drum memory device

I think the iPad is one of the most significant change agents the industry has seen in my 50+ years of professional life.

I don’t have my personal iPad but did get two computer virgins to adopt iPads.  Neither has a computer (or prior computer experience) to back them up but one would kill me if I tried to take her iPad away.

Following is what I sent my group

Jerry

Is the day of the docent about to disappear?  Or will the docent become an iPad expert.

While the application described is for the iPhone and Touch, just imagine what could be done with the iPad as the communication device.

Yes the iPad is a change agent

Jerry
