Thanks, Ron and Jerry, for sharing how HMAUS and Naples MUG are using FaceTime to connect with presenters. Virginia to Florida and Paris to Hawaii - very cool indeed!
FaceTime is shaping up to be a great new resource for groups, and I'll bet that a lot of us are coming up with innovative and fun ways to put it to use.
Let's hear from more folks about the ways your group and members are using FaceTime, and get the ideas rolling.
Thanks!

We used an iMac with a T1 line for iChat at a local Community College and hooked up a projector to project on a large screen. Joe was able to use iChat theater to present his keynote. At the end, I used my iPhone 4 face time to connect with Joe who installed fact time on his Mac and, with the rear camera on the iPhone, I was able to show him our audience in Honolulu. Everything went very smoothly and the audience was quite impressed. If we didn't tell them, they would never know that Joe was so far away. We had a turnout of over 200 people for our fest who were able to enjoy a great speaker because of this technology.
Aloha,
Ron
