I checked Apple's support section and found an article that cover this topic, with screen shots. <http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083>

Member Celeste wrote me, "Hi Gary! Do you know how I can easily get the photos I took with my iPhone off my iPhone onto my PC? I've been emailing them to myself one by one and that's wayyyyy to painful!! There's got to be a better way!"
