01 DVD Slideshow builder FREE for Mother's Day
Catherine Lee, a reader in Germany alerted us to this
great deal for Mother's Day -- Wondershare is giving away
Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder Standard on the occasion
of Mom's Day, which allows you to drop-in your favorite
photos and music, and instantly create a compelling photo
slideshow as a gift for your mom.

02 Junk Mail remedy?
Are you inundated with catalogs, offers, and direct mail
junk? Is the postal mail box of an elderly relative or
friend stuffed to the brim with 'Publishers' Clearninghouse'
envelopes? The web site DMAchoice.org could be just what
you're looking for.

03 May Games for Kids of all ages
Amazing that most of the games are being produced
outside of the U.S. for all the games reviewed since our
last issue (more than 30) only five were from U.S.
developers. What does that tell you? Maybe that's why 90% of
the iPhone and iPad apps, particularly games, these days
really suck. We've seen no less than a dozen new "dropping
objects" games in the past few days, all of which are from
foreign developers and NONE of which are worth even
99-cents!
CAUTION REMEMBER : you cannot get your money back after
downloading and discovering it really sucks!
We think these actually suck less!
* Tractors and Farms game sure to please
* Pocket Monkey off to the jungle
* So You Think You Know Words
* More stupid kick games
* The Treasures of Hotei
* Bricks Trouble
. . . and more!

from One Keyboard ShareMouse 1.0 for OS X and Windows, is a
new software utility that allows users to control any

the cursor magically appears on the screen of the computer

05 iPhone Raising Money for Students with Autism
iPhone App is Raising Money and Awareness for Students
with Autism -- Brandy Wheeler is on a mission to place
iPads in the hands of every local student with Autism. To
meet this lofty goal she partnered with Traverse City Area
Public Schools to expand their iPads for Autism program.

06 MacAppBlocker 1.4.1
MacAppBlocker for OS X enables users to block access to
any application by placing it on a Blocked App list that is
password protected. A safer and more practical solution for
insuring privacy than creating multiple login accounts,
MacAppBlocker allows the user to share their computer or
leave it unattended, while being assured that sensitive apps
and documents cannot be opened.

07 Harvard and MIT launch edX
What is edX you ask. It is a new service that Harvard
and MIT are doing to offer FREE online classes. The program
will be run by a non-profit organization controlled by the
two schools and they have each committed $30 million to the
program.

08 Cloud-based storage for Mac OS X
This article on CNet is actually titled "Cloud-based

10 Folder Factory
Appsoft Studio has announced the release of Folder Factory 1.0,
an app for changing folders' design on Mac OS X.
The new application is an excellent tool for enhancing folder
icons and has some great features. Attaching pictures, applying
colors and adjusting their intensity will help to compose
unique folder icons for many Mac users.
