02 Steve Jobs: The "Global Leadership" Conundrum
Global Leadership Programs are becoming more popular,
but are they enough to develop the leaders of the future? In
this edition, IDG focuses on the issues around this topic
... "Is the Steve Jobs trick of being an 'awful boss'
crucial to organisational leadership?"

03 Facebook Update Politics
Although we're trying to do our best to stay clear of
the political propagands toilet, with all the social media
bursting at it's seams with garbage, we couldn't help one or
two. Facebook and Twitter seem to be running the election
this year, there are other tidbits of news in the Facebook
World not revolving around politics...

* What We Can Learn About Facebook From its Bizzare Chair Ad
* Facebook asks court to dismiss $15 billion privacy suit
* Facebook to charge users to 'promote' posts to friends

04 Is technology entrepreneurship losing its soul?
The Danger of Celebritizing Entrepreneurship is a
thoughtful essay that addresses some serious issues we face.
Author Max Marmer writes: "There's no doubt technology
entrepreneurship is becoming its own kind of celebrity. Here
is a quick rundown of its appearances on the national stage:"

07 Appsoft Studio's Image Slices
Appsoft Studio has announced Image Slices app. The
application simplifies the process of slicing pictures into
triangular, diamond or other shapes. Smaller pieces let you
incorporate them into web pages or iWork applications like
Keynote, Pages and Numbers. In addition, the app allows the
user to print pieces of huge posters in the original size
even on your home printer or print sliced images with dotted
lines for cutting them by hand. Furthermore, it provides you
with a great material for photo collages and other graphic
work on paper or canvas.

08 Art Authority' Prints on Demand
The creators of the "Art Authority" app line has
announced immediately availability of a "Prints on Demand"
feature in Art Authority for iPad, Apple's "Best iPad
Reference app" of 2011. The first result of the
previously-announced partnership with world-renown Bridgeman
Art Library, "Prints on Demand" lets users order customized
high-quality reproductions of key works of art from within
the app.

12 Best support?
Fred writes : Everyone has their own 'pet' software and
software support. I know that yesterday I was thankful for
two excellent sources of support. First was Applecare. You
buy hardware from Apple, buy Applecare too. I feel like my
Applecare already paid for itself after two hours on the
phone yesterday. I had a rather sticky upgrade to a new
Mountain Lion machine -- needing to build off of two other
machines rather then just migrating from one.
Next accolades go to BareBones software , the makers of
BBEdit. Wow -- those guys are great. Of course migrating to
Mountain Lion presents its own set of problems -- mainly
nothing works. So I had to get an upgrade to BBEdit, the one
piece of software I cannot live without. They responded
within hours of pleas for help on various problems getting
the upgrade up and running -- or figuring out snags I had
not anticipated. I rank BBEdit and Barebones as 5-star
software -- I couldn't life without now for twenty years!.

13 Quotes: from Kennedy, and Anonymous
"When written in Chinese, the word crisis
is composed of two characters.
One represents danger,
the other represents opportunity."
John F. Kennedy
People with extraordinary minds, talk about ideas.
People with average minds, talk about events.
People with simple minds, talk about other people.
