I would hope that people who are members of various discussions would rethink their use of "Out of Office" replies. There is no reason to burden all members of the discussion group with the inane message. Just more email clutter
Now to be proactive. Can I suggest that no one use their important personal or business email address to subscribe to a discussion group. Instead create / use an different email address for any / all your discussion groups Then when you are traveling etc, just activate the Out Of Office message for your personal / business email

And I know that I will trigger at least 2 more Out Of Office messages from Aaron but maybe he will look at this when he returns from his vacation in some exotic location without cellular capability
