05 Did Apple Buy Grokr?
This column was originally called the UGNN Rumor Manager. While
I picked the name in homage to the Boston Computer Society's BBS back
in the day, I was thinking of trying to cover Apple Rumors in much the
same way as MacRumors does today. (Although I must admit they do a
better job than I ever considered.)

the company introduced it as a computer specifically
made to answer Jeopardy! questions. Since then,
Watson's development has expanded, and in 2011
it competed against former Jeopardy! winners
Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter to

12 Quotes: Benjamin Franklin
Preparation: For the want of a nail, the shoe was lose; for the
want of a shoe the horse was lose; and for the want of a horse the
rider was lost, being overtaken and slain by the enemy, all for the
want of care about a horseshoe nail.
If a man empties his purse into his head, no man can take it away from
him. An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.
