01 Apple's 12 best app winners announced at WWDC
Some 5000 developers attended the Apple Worldwide Developer's Conference, where the big news was how Apple was opening up Siri to outside app makers, who have big plans for the personal digital assistant.

02 UGNN Reader asks : Why all the Safenetting Alerts?
UGNN reader V.H. writes to ask :
"You say this -- ALERT: ALL of the sites referenced in today's update are spam sites -- some fare worse than others! These sites could include stalker links, predators and possible click-wear malware. Be very careful what you click! -- are they true 'spam' or malware sites and if so, why do you include the URLs?"

03 MUG Websites (Part 5) Continuing my investigation of MUG Websites pages
Covered here are:
* YMUG - This group responded last week to my request.
* AMUG -- Back to the beginning of the alphabet. Arizona MUG has been around for a long time, and has been among the most active groups in the country.
* BMUG -- of course this page doesn't load the Berkley MUG any more, but it does load PlanetMUG which was the BBS that BMUG was running when they shutdown.

04 'Google of the Bible' goes live
Hatanakh.com, the result of five years of work by a team from Herzog College, includes the first comprehensive digital edition of the Bible, commentary, articles, religious lessons, and Google Maps that let users "tour" biblical locations.

05 Sling TV launches on Apple TV
At the WWDC keynote, Sling TV announced the debut of its Internet TV service on Apple TV.

06 10 major headaches Apple fixed in their OS
Among Apple's many (many, many) announcements at WWDC were plenty of fixes for little frustrations in each of its major platforms.

07 Apple's 'lappable' iPad Pro concept is far from laughable
Found this piece a good read if you'r planning on considering an iPad Pro as your next "laptop" . . .
"Lapable" is not a word I would ordinarily use, save for the fact that Apple's applied it to the new iPad Pro nine-incher."

08 Are You Being Throttled? Probably
We've written about this problem before. In late 2015 Netflix on our system slowed to below 2.0mps. We figured it was the local net. It was Verizon. Then when a law suit was settled in January, our speeds mysteriously jumped back to the "advertised" 5mps and all was good. But then, they've been slowing down once again. I found this piece in Small Dog's newsletter quite interesting . . .

09 Some Apple iOS Apps No Longer Downloadable through iTunes
I went to update a bunch of apps in iTunes today, and I got this alert: "Only available on IOS."

-------------------------------------------------------------------
10 A Brief Overview of New Features Coming to Apple Music
Apple has released developer previews of iOS 10 and macOS 10.12. There are major changes to Apple Music, and they show up in both iTunes and the Music app on iOS.

11 Quotes: Newton, Clark
"If you can find a path with no obstacles,
it probably doesn't lead anywhere."
- Frank A. Clark
"Tact is the knack of making a point without making an enemy."
- Isaac Newton
