01 FBI : Child Sexual Exploitation:
. . . Threat from Pedophiles Online is 'Vast and Extensive'
Digital Evidence Response Team The case of a Tennessee man sentenced last month to 21 years in prison on child pornography charges serves as an important reminder to parents and children about the dangers of an online world where things are not always as they appear and pedophiles may be lurking around many virtual corners.

02 CyberSecurity Update: cyberwar, China, Russia, DAESH, Obama and more!
In this issue we're concentrating more on cyberwar than security in general. We're facing tough times -- having this 3-ring circus called "Elections" has everyone side-tracked making a perfect opportunity for cyber attacks and breaches. It helps to stay educated and it helps to be vigil.

05 Keeping Up With Reddit: Use IFTTT
I found this ResearchBuzz article to be interesting: "...I imagine it would be difficult to aggregate 73 million submissions on a site as wide-ranging as Reddit and not have something turn up that would be of interest or of use to you. Your field of interest would have to be very limited."

08 My pologis
if you see missing "a"s and "e"s in my text, I apologise ... I tried to catch them all. My A and E keys no longer work, I have to hit them several times, and I cannot find a global spell checker that will run over BBEdit and web browsers. C&G's "SPell CATCHER" used to be the greatest app, and one I used all day, every day. Only runs under Tiger. Why do people kill good apps like that? :-(

09 Apple Terminating Music Downloads 'Within 2 Years' -- Digital Music News
Apple is now preparing to completely terminate music download offerings on the iTunes Store, with an aggressive, two-year termination timetable actively being considered and gaining favor. According to sources to Digital Music News . . . really?

10 Bring an Old Mac to Life with OS X Server
You may not realize it, but your Mac is a server. It contains all the software you need to host websites, manage email, serve files, and much more. All you need to do is turn on these "services." Apple makes this really easy; you can buy the OS X Server app (for $20) from the Mac App Store, and tweak a few settings, and then turn your Mac into a server in minutes.
