The MUG Event Calendar for the Week of June 8: FaceTime, System
Preferences, OneNote
http://www.mugcenter.com/the-mug-event-calendar-for-the-week-of-june-8-facetime-system-preferences-onenote/
The MUG Event Calendar continues to feature groups everywhere adopting
online meeting options to keep their groups going. This week, a New York
group looks at FaceTime, , a Michigan group starts a look at System
Preferences, a group in Ohio looks at Microsoft OneNote, and a Washington
D.C. group looks at a wide variety of topics that includes AirDrop, spring
cleaning your devices, HandOff and more. (more)

National Capital Apple Mac Users Group – Meeting via Zoom:As it is still
(sort of) springtime, we’ll look at topics related to basic ‘spring
cleaning’ of Macs, iPhones and iPads.Time to find (and perhaps, remove)
no-longer-needed files, the duplicate files, and ‘cruft’ — the unwanted
detritus lingering on that Mac drive. And we’ll discuss removing unused
iPhone and iPad apps without losing needed associated files.
Next up, discussion will consider Apple’s AirDrop. This is a truly easy and
useful application for sharing files with others and moving files, photos,
etc. between or among your Apple devices. Once you start using AirDrop
you’ll probably think of all of the times you wished you’d used it!
Followed by discussion on a somewhat related technology: Apple’s Handoff.
For those who would like to — or need to — begin working on a file on one
Apple device and pick-up the process on another device, Handoff provides a
great native solution. Started that long document or e-mail on your iPhone
while away from your Mac, and then realized you’d rather work on it with a
full keyboard? No problem, Handoff is there to help make it happen.
There will be lots of news to share, including news about iOS and Mac OS
updates; the new iPhone SE; the new Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro, with
cursor support; the new 13-inch MacBook Pro; and a new online Apple Store
hub;
*Sunday June 14*

Thanks!
