I've got what I was hoping is a simple task that needs to be repeated about 1000 times. Maybe I'm stupid, but I was hoping that Automator would, well, automate the job.

From looking at available automator actions I can't see that anything really useful can be done - at least not anything *I* need to do.

So, is anyone reading this list? I don't really want to start asking questions if I'm only going to be talking to myself. I haven't seen any traffic on this list in a long time.
