Getting workflow to appear on context menu of files (Script menu)

I am new to Automator. I am running Leopard. The problem I am having is that I have created a workflow using Automator rather than applescript directly), very simple, just takes a file and attaches it to an email. I have saved it first as a workflow, then as a plug-in (select menu).
What i want is to right click on a pdf and have the Send Email workflow appear, which I then choose to run the workflow, opening a new mail message with the pdf attached. Trouble is, I can't get the workflow to appear in the context (right click) menu.
I have run the Applescript Utility and clicked the Show Script menu checkbox.
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
