Thanks for your help Ben. I initially thought it might be somewhere in the info.plist but didn't know what to look for. I'll tinker on a copy and post feedback to apple in the interim.

There has been a fair bit discontent with STP in various logic forums and I imagine apple would have received some feedback. I suppose the more feedback the better for all concerned.
