Obviously that was just an example showing they work-- it's not a "Real" workflow. I could (and have) stored/retrieved with those for more complex ones. That screenshot was in context of my review of Automator 2.

But how's that useful - you just set it and get it immediately afterwards. You could just skip the middle two steps and have the same effect.

Plus, I'm glad it works for you, but the effect I'm describing and documented in my screen shots is real and needs explanation...!
