Is anyone able to get Automator to loop a "Watch Me Do" action in
Leopard (10.5.1)? I have tried even the most basic action (type the
number 1 in Text Edit and repeat 10 times) and it always hangs after
the second completion.
I created a simple workflow that cuts the first line of a text editor
(jEdit) and pastes it into a command line window, with the hope of
automating long lists of similar commands. I defined the task using
the "Record" and it works perfectly when I run it.
When I add the "Loop" to the workflow, it runs through the loop twice
(2) and then stops. Automator says that it is still looping. It
doesn't matter if I run the loop for a certain time period or a
certain number of executions; it always hangs after the second loop.
If I have Automator "Ask to continue" it works without problem.
So how do I report a bug on this? Are there logs I can check?
I have removed the screen shot to reduce the size.
