Why do you say that? As long ago as Macworld 2007 (January), it was
announced that Office 2008 (due out Jan 15, 2008) would have Automator
actions shipped with it.

you can see that the both the standard full version of Office 2008 for Mac
and the "Special Media Edition" advertise that they come with
"Automator Actions for Workflows in Microsoft Office"
