Are you running with your Region setting (in System Preferences > International > Formats) set to something other than 'United States?' I noticed your calendar names are in Spanish, so I tried setting my region to Spanish > Mexico and saw the same issue you're seeing when searching for events starting this week -- no results were returned. Yet the same workflow worked fine when running with the region set to 'United States.' It looks like this action doesn't work properly for some regions, so you might try an alternate approach, such as what Serge suggested using a Run AppleScript action.

Hello, I'm still stucked without help for this workflow that does not work.

I sent about 6-7 weeks ago a letter to this group asking for help. Still, I have no solution at hand for my problem. I'll explain it again, maybe some of you can help me. And please don't just tell me that It does work for you, I'm sure there are plenty of people that doesn't have this problem, please tell me HOW do you think I can work it out.

I run a group that have periodic meetings arranged and published in iCal to a dotMac site. The meetings are always coordinated by different people, I need to send a reminder email about 1 week in advance so nobody forgets their turn (every 2-3 months).

I used to have this workflow that made this automatically for me. Since I bought a new laptop (one with leopard) this stopped working. I think I've isolated the problem to when a date is included. My original workflow looked like this:
1. Find events in iCal whose calendar is "Group" and whose start date is "next week"
2. Event summary
3. New mail message to "email@hidden", with Subject "NExt week meetings"

It worked flawlessly in my Tiger iBook. Now it doesn't work, the first step doesn't render any result. IF I remove the start date, it gives me ALL the events in the group calendar, the ones that had already happened and the ones that are coming.

As the workflow worked without the date, I removed it, trying to add it later with a "Filter iCal items" action to select the ones coming next week. This action broke the workflow again.

PLEASE HELP!!

I'll add some pictures to exemplify it:

1. Find events WITH DATE FILTER (of course there are events from the group coming next week).

2. The same action WITHOUT a date filter <Picture 2.png>

3. The same action that found all the events, now with a "Filter by date" action (that breaks the workflow again). Please note that it can be ANY date included, it doesn't matter, it breaks the flow anyhow.
