It is my experience that the new automator does not wait for any
indication that a particular snippet of a workflow is complete before
continuing. To fix this I usually have to add pauses. This has been a
big problem in Leopard if that's what you're using. I've noticed that
apps, scripts, and workflows have all been much much slower in
Leopard, making them far less useful than they were in Tiger. Anyway,
try adding pauses of a couple of seconds here and there to see if it
helps.

Thanks Alex,
The group is huge, so I reduced it to just 10 members. The problem
continued. It is a pain because it means that the workflow is
useless (recipients get incomplete messages).
How do you report a bug?
Thanks for your help.

Hi, Ian
I have only first message empty. Without any truncated one.
Check how many contacts you have in Address Book group which you
use and how many sent messages are in Sent folder.
I think quantity is equal.

Hi,
When I follow the instructions sent from Alex at http://homepage.mac.com/jkevinwolfe/otto/page3/page7/page7.html
Everything seems to work fine. But as the list of emails start to
build, the first letters, words and sometimes whole lines fail to
be included in the body of the mail. This means that after the
salutation (Dear Soandso), the message begins half way through the
first sentence. The first email in teh list is fine.
Does this sound familiar? Am I making an error or is this a bug?
Ian
PS: By the way, the "stubborn message" mentioned in the link
above, appears to be useful if you want to include links and fonts
in the mail, which is impossible to add in the automator window.
