Hello all!

I'm experiencing an extremely annoying problem with Automator: When I try to use the actions "Find people in Address Book" or the one above "Filter people in Address Book" the actions fail. Not in the sense that nothing turns up: to test it I created the group 'test' and made it find the people in that group and what happens is that Automator brings up an box (with a ding! sound) saying the action failed, and that I should check the actions properties. Under Results it says "Action Failed" and in stead of the small green OK sign there's a red stop sign with an x on it.

As stated I tried to search for things I was sure would return something, but that's within the action; in the search field. Even so, without any data it still shouldn't return an error, just no results - right?

The log says that the action failed and could not be completed with varying numbers following: 436426768. I've tried with no actions prior to the faulty ones, and with actions prior: no difference.

I've also tried with the newly created user 'test' and no; theres no difference, it still says "Action failed" in stead of just returning no results.

Just to be sure that I'm using it right: if you open Automator and does nothing but drag the "Find persons in Address Book" and sets it to run, what do you get? That's how I get the errors. I thought about trying to replace the action-files, in case it might be corrupt files, but I cannot find them online.

In the Apple Discussions forum a fellow user wrote the following:

"It is just another bug in Automator.Or more precise: a bug in Automator´s language resources. I´m from Germany. Same here.I guess the only way to make it work is to disable all languages (except english) in Automator."

So I suspect the error is within the language resources!

Please I really need this to work, and preferably in my language (Danish) - how can I make it function?

I have changed nothing with the system, it's a brand new install on a brand new MacBook.
