The workflow works but I don’t see an action that allows to replace
all instances of the special symbol change them to _.
Also in the Find Finder Items action whose name contains... If I use
the + to add more criteria like # and / and $ Automator only shows
one of the items in the criteria.
You can use the "Rename Finder Items" action to replace one character
with another. From the action's popup, just choose "Replace Text".
Regarding searching for multiple criteria, you could try inserting the
"Find Finder Items" action several times, each one configured to
search for a different character. I believe if you do this, each
action's results will be appended to the results of the previous action.
