I get the error: "Check the actionʼs properties and try running the
workflow again."
I also have put a pause or wait in the workflow to no avail.
I thought the same thing that the server was not fully mounted prior
to the copy being initiated.. but that does not seem to be the case.
Not sure what is means about the action's properties... as when I run
the last two steps as a separate automator, after mounting the
server's volume, it works.

issue is that there is some lag between when connect to server
completes and when the volume had actually completed mounting. You
could get around that by inserting a pause action and waiting a few
seconds, or a Run AppleScript action with a loop that checks for the
presence of the volume every second and returns once the volume is
present.
That's based on a guess. If it doesn't work, could you tell us
exactly what error the Copy Finder Items action is generating
(you'll see the error if you open the workflow log)?

My workflow is:
1) get specified servers
2) connect to server
3) get finder items
4) copy finder items
I cannot get this to work. It will automatically mount the server
but breaks when it tries to copy.
I can separate the above into TWO workflows consisting of steps 1
and 2 for the workflow "connect to server"
and 3 and 4 for the workflow "copy from laptop" and they work just
fine.
But when I combine them together in one workflow it does not work..
Any suggestions?
