Safari - Multiple File Downloads?

Given a connection to a web server, can Automator be configured to download all files? Some links will be to other directories, some to files.

What I'm doing is moving recordings from my TiVo to my Mac for off-line storage while I work on the TiVo. Once work is completed, I will put the recordings back onto the TiVo. (That part of the process is solved.)

I can connect to my TiVo using Safari and download the listed files one at a time, but I have lots of files to download. So, can Automator be made to recursively traverse the entire "home page" of the TiVo and download all the recordings?

I have not used Automator yet -- didn't really have a need -- and my initial ,playing with it leaves me not grasping the paradigm it uses.
