I set it up again with find people then defined the subset birthdays. The workflow runs but only if I run it in automator .. My iCal is failing to invoke the file. This has been killing me since 10.6.0

Subject: B-day email with automator
Hi,
I think this might seem pretty stupid for most of you, but it is driving me crazy.
I upgraded from a Macbook to an iMac. I used a workflow that, basically found a Birthday in the Address Book and then sent an email. Pretty simple instructions in Automator.
I've tried setting it up the same way in the iMac and it keeps on showing an error "no data entries have been found" or something of the sort (Translation from Spanish).
I've even erased a Birthday and set it up again, with no success! Any ideas?
(I must say this is the most I've done with applescript)
Thank you
