Hello Jude,

If you use the actions for Photoshop ( http://www.completedigitalphotography.com ) , you'll find an action : Resize to File Size.

Into this action you've : Target file size ( in Mb ) and Resolution.

Hope this help.

Thierry

Hi all,

I'm new to here and here is my question.
When I use Automator to create a service which can resize the selected pictures, but there are only 2 methods can be used while resize, by pixels or by percentage. Is it possible to resize the pictures by file size? Coz usually I have to resize the image to no more than 500KB so that I can upload it to some particular online space.
