This is a bug caused by the installation of Safari 5. Every automated add-attachment-to-mail scheme shows the black bar. There is a lot of talk about it in Apple's forums. I can't wait to have it fixed! Causes problems for FileMaker and AppleScript implementations to name two that I have come across.
