Hi guys,
I have this challenge. My previous Sony Camera recorded videos in MPEG. Those videos, despite showing properly in iPhoto, don't show up in iMovies (as we now is an unsupported format).
I would like to design a workflow which renames these items picking up date & time of the original clips and arrange them in the format digested by iMovie (clip-yyyy-mm-dd hh;mm;ss.mov). Then export using MPEG Streamclip in MP4. Using this workaround, I assume the clips, when reimported into iPhoto, should be placed by iMovie in the right place of its calendar.
Also, how to keep the original creation date and time for iPhoto to re-place exported movies in the right place (exporting will necessarily change date and time of creation)?
Any good samaritan?
Tks, Umberto. |
