Good day all,

I have a workflow saved as a folder action that executes perfectly on my local workstation, and locally on a server.  However, when the target folder for the folder action attachment is on a mounted share (whether across a network, or direct-attached to the server [RAID solution]), the workflow fails on the first step: "The action 'Filter Images by Orientation' was not supplied with the required data."

Workflow:
1) Filter Images by Orientation (horizontal/vertical/square)
2) Scale Images (value dependent on option in step 1)
3) Change Type of Images

All steps employ Preview as this app lives universally on all installed systems.  I have two folder actions attached to the folder, one to deal with horizontal images, one for vertical images.

Testing environment:
Mac Pro, 10.6.7
xServe, 10.6.7

Why would this workflow execute when files are dropped into a local test folder, but fail when the same workflow is attached to a folder in a (Mac) network share?

Any suggestions?

/timothy
