Automator not loading actions of other applications...

I'm trying to use Automator to tell the Transmit ftp client to synchronize a folder with an ftp directory with a Folder Action.

Unfortunately Automator is not showing anything in the Library other than Apple's applications (iCal, AddressBook, etc.).  If I open Transmit with AppleScript Editor there is a nice list of commands that can be scripted.  The author of Transmit suggested holding down "option" when launching, but that didn't work.  I've tried it on two different machines, once running 10.6.8 and 10.6.6.

Am I missing something?  How can I get Automator to see the commands of anything other than Apple's applications.
