Using automator to place hundred of files in a single folder

Hello all,

I'm a compete novice with automator but I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a way to create an action that will solve a problem for me.

A piece of panorama software is creating a folder structure with hundreds of image files in it that I require to be in a single folder in order to easily upload. The software used to create just such a folder, but in a recent update it changed, and now creates a folder systems with a few images in each folder as follows:

- Main folder with images files and 6 'level 2' sub folders
- Each 'level 2' sub folder contains 4 further 'level 3' sub folders
- Level 3 folder 1 contains 2 further 'level 4' sub folders, each of which contains 2 image files
- Level 3 folder 2 contains 3 further 'level 4'  sub folders, each of which contains 3 image files
- Level 3 folder 3 contains 5 further 'level 4'  sub folders, each of which contains 5 image files
- Level 3 folder 4 contains 10 further 'level 4'  sub folders, each of which contains 10 image files

I hope this explains it fairly clearly. If not, please ask and I will create a flow chart.

As you can see, there are a lot of images in a lot of different folders. To manually open and move the image files from all the sub level folders to the home page is tedious and time consuming. When it needs to be done for 10 panoramas it becomes a complete waste of time. I was therefore wondering if someone can help point me in the direction of how to use automator to do all the moving for me.

With thanks.

Phil Giles
