Melanie,
Thanks for the overview. It's very clear now. I'll start plugging into the group with my questions soon.
Have a good day,
Frank

Frank,
By sending an e-mail to the "automator-users" list as you have successfully done a couple times now already, what happens is that your e-mail goes out to a whole lot of people, everybody who happens to be subscribed to this list. That e-mail address is simply/only used for questions about the Apple application, Automator. If you have questions about Automator, you can send an e-mail to the "automator-users" e-mail address, and everybody on the list will receive the question. If anybody knows the answer, they will probably respond back and try to help you. It's just people helping people. There is not really a "link" or "webpage;" you just use the e-mail address to ask questions about Automator. You can use the links a few lines below to manage subscriptions and whatnot (where it says, "To subscribe or unsubscribe," etc.).
I have hit "reply all" to your e-mail, so not just you, but everybody on the entire list, will receive this e-mail I have written, as an example of how communication works, using this list/e-mail. Hopefully that answers your questions.
Melanie
