Folder Action Upset by Mavericks

  • Subject: Folder Action Upset by Mavericks

I created a folder action that worked until Mavericks.

From the "Files & Folders Library" I used "Rename Finder Items: Add Date or Time" to change “Name.xxx" to "2013-11-19 Name.xxx"

After installing Mavericks when I add a file to the folder, the date repeats until, I guess, the maximum filename length is reached. In list view the name appears as "2013-11-19. . . 2013-11-19 Name.xxx”.

How do I get Automator to stop after adding the date a single time?
