Mail data detectors in Mail

I’m pretty sure this is new in Mac OS 10.9.5 - phone numbers now appear to be detected with data detectors when viewing a mail message. 

The only item listed as a service for a phone number is to offer to look up in DuckDuckGo.

I have an Automator service and/or AppleScript to dial that I would like to make available in the menu option for a phone number.

How can I add this?
