Hi there,
I'm quite new to Automator and scripting. I've got a workflow I'm working on
which opens HTML files and extracts specific data from them. There are over
7000 files that need to be processed.
During testing, I used only a couple of HTML files at a time and the workflow
completed without errors. When trying to process all of these files I get an
error from the third party action "Dispense Items Incrementally":
The action “Dispense Items Incrementally” encountered an error: “Can’t get
|temporary items path| of {action:item id 7, ignoresInput:false}.”
Can’t get |temporary items path| of {action:item id 7, ignoresInput:false}.
I've just checked the logs and this is what they say:
2017-12-13 14:29:24 +0000: Run AppleScript completed
2017-12-13 14:29:24 +0000: Get Specified Finder Items completed
2017-12-13 14:29:31 +0000: Get Folder Contents completed
2017-12-13 14:30:07 +0000: Filter Finder Items completed
2017-12-13 14:30:08 +0000: Dispense Items Incrementally failed - 1 error, 1
warning
2017-12-13 14:30:07 +0000: The action “Dispense Items Incrementally” was not
supplied with the required data.
2017-12-13 14:30:08 +0000: Can’t get |temporary items path| of {action:item id
7, ignoresInput:false}.
Could anybody shed some light on what might be going wrong here?
