I stand corrected,
The 3Com Bluetooth USB module works great on my Mac OS X iBook. I assumed that it didn't work because the LED did not light up.
Thanks,
Bruce

All USB dongles?
Yep, provided the USB dongle follows the Bluetooth spec, they should just
work. That being said, we have seen 3Com dongles that don't even show up as
USB devices in the system, so our stuff doesn't even get loaded against it.
So, first verify that the 3Com dongle shows up in the system. You can run
Apple System Profiler and it should be in the 'devices' tab. If it is not
there, I would say the dongle is defective. If it does, then the problem is
most likely ours.

How do you generate a System Profiler or USB prober report?
To generate a System Profiler report, launch the app in
/Applications/Utilities/Apple System Profiler and then choose 'New Report'
from the File menu and send us the generated file. It would also be
interesting to see what has printed out in the /var/log/system.log file and
in the console, if anything.
USB Prober is apparently not released for Mac OS X yet, although I thought
it was. So ignore that idea...

There is no reason why the TDK should not work, we have one here and it is

Our stack should work with all USB dongles, provided they follow the
