I wasn't sure where else I could post this, so I hope that this is the right
place. =)
I've been using the Microsoft Bluetooth mouse for about a week now under
10.2.5. While the setup and configuration of the device was extremely simple,
the behavior of the mouse was not as pleasing. The cursor movement was not
smooth at all and seemed jumpy at times. Also, the cursor speed did not seem
to be affected by the mouse prefpane. At first I thought this normal behavior
of the mouse, but then I used it on an XP machine and it was right as rain.
This leads me to believe that it is a software "problem".
Some things that might be affecting the mouse: I didn't install the MS
IntelliPoint drivers since they don't recognize the extra buttons (yet). I do
have the Logitech Control Center drivers installed since that is the last
mouse I was using. USB Overdrive is installed but disabled.
I'm going to try uninstalling the latter two items I mentioned to see if that
affects anything. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?
Thanks,
Luician
