Thanks for that Per. Scott Herz pointed me to the same .plist file and I hacked it to work last night.

I think that the underlying problem here is really a bug in Address Book. When I connected to the T630 using Bluetooth the connection icon went from grey to blue and the program raised no warning at all despite the fact that it had already concluded that it had no support for that phone. Furthermore, in its connected state it gave me the menu options against the phone numbers for dialling and sending SMS messages and selecting these also gave no error, despite it not having any information from the Telephony bundle as to how it might perform these operation. Had AB reported errors in either one of these cases I would have taken far less time to find the problem and furthermore I'd not have been sending SMS messages for the last ten days and wondering why people were not replying!
