From the Apple Developer support website you can download the latest SDK for Panther. Installing that you will be able to use PacketDecoder2.

Can anyone tell me what's going on with PacketDecoder2 that came with the latest XCode CD (with Panther). I've read about the place that it was disabled because of security concerns or something but was to be re-done with an updated SDK. The only Bluetooth SDK I could find though came with Jaguar so it's hardly updated.

PacketDecoder2 does nothing but give an IO error with a "Bummer!" button.

If no one has a fix for that can anyone suggest an alternative? That is besides setting up a linux box! Perhaps an opensourced program I can recompile under OS X ??

Muchly appreciated folks.
Raj.
