If you haven't discovered this already, I'd like to let everyone know
that we (Apple) have recently published a "Introduction to Working With
Bluetooth Devices" document in the "Developer" section of our website.
http://developer.apple.com/documentation/DeviceDrivers/Conceptual/
Bluetooth/index.html
This document describes how Bluetooth works and summarizes the
Bluetooth specification in order to provide a foundation for
understanding Apples Bluetooth support. It also provides task
information, accompanied by several code examples, that illustrates how
to develop applications that access Bluetooth-enabled devices.
It is intended to (and will hopefully) give developers insight into the
basics of developing Bluetooth applications for Mac OS X.
