Hi there,
I'm new to this list, so I'm really sorry if this has been asked (and
answered) before, but I couldn't find it on the archives and no answers
are readily available on Google.
Anyway, I've just bought a USB bluetooth adapter for my (summer 2001)
Quicksilver 733, and it doesn't work. I bought it because it had
double the range (20m) of most other adapters I've seen...and it only
cost me 10 quid (GBP)!
On the side of the box it came in, it says "Bluetooth Class 2 USB
Adapter". Could the fact that it's BT class 2 be the reason why it's
not working in OS X? If so, is there a driver in development for which
I could either be a tester or even a developer?
I know the device itself works because Apple System Profiler describes
it as a "bluetooth transceiver" and it even works in virtual PC...well,
as much as anything works in windoze anyway! ;-)
If anyone could help or even give me some pointers, I'd be extremely
grateful. I've got a brand new Sony-Ericsson T630 that's just begging
to be iSynched!
Thanks a lot.
Mark
