I've released blueproxy-1.1, available under a BSD-style license at:
http://anil.recoil.org/projects/blueproxy.html
It is a cross-platform (Linux, FreeBSD, MacOS X so far) RFCOMM->TCP
proxy server to make developing server-side Bluetooth apps easier
rather
than having to bind the various Bluetooth stack APIs into your language
of choice.
The reason for mailing this list is that MacOS X support is kind of
poor
so far (opening /dev/tty.<bluetooth>), and if any programmers who have
more knowledge of MacOS (perhaps the new Tiger APIs) wanted to help
improve it, that would be very welcome.
Hi,
I never really used the Bluetooth framework of MacOS X,
but I will have a look at blueproxy as soon as I find the time,
I'm interested in developing BT apps, so
perhaps I can help you AND have the profit of learning sth new :-)
regards,
Christian Klein
